Volunteer Experience

  • Helped organize a missionary trip to Kenya where we spent half our time working with the Masai tribe installing solar panels in their homes, and the other half of the time teaching basic robotics and electronics in Kenyan High Schools. For this trip I was one of the two main precentors for our fundraising, and presented our presentation to the rotary club, city council, and through out our entire high school. Once in Kenya I worked as part of a team to build relationships within the Masai community to create a long lasting connection, which would allow other students to repeat our trip and continue the work we were doing.
