Managing Coordinator

Trackers Earth
Portland
05.2022 - 08.2023
  • After working as a lead guide I was recognized by the owner of the outdoor education program and asked to become a supervisor of a team of groups. I managed a team of 10 adults (5 groups of children, or around 90 kids).
  • Plan the curriculum for each group every week, walk around to those groups in the wilderness, and model how to teach children fire, bow and arrows, ax and knife throwing, harvesting, trap setting, and many other wilderness survival tricks, by teaching it to their groups. This way they could learn from my example and implement their own teaching strategies when teaching the same skills for future groups.
