Dear Joe Zentmyer,
My name is Jacob Federici and I am a Junior at De LaSalle Institute located on the southside of Chicago. I came in earlier today, and was asked to email you. Here is a little about me.
My parents divorced and I currently live with my mother in Palos Heights. Due to a shoulder injury while playing football my sophomore year, I was unable to play this year. Although I was unable to play for my high school football team this year, I wanted to stay active and keep up with my football skills. I was given the great opportunity to volunteer as a assistant football coach for the 7th and 8th grade varsity team at St. Daniel the Prophet School. As an assistant football coach I was committed to running practices 5 days a week, including coaching weekend football games. This has allowed me to direct and encourage adolescents in reaching their goals and living up to their best potential. My volunteer work as a assistant football coach, has improved in communication and organizational skills. I have also did bar backing, which is dealing with customer service. This helped me get my communication skills with dealing with variates of different people. I am a very patient person, and work extremely well with people. I am a good listener and provider to the people I talk to. This is why I would be a great fit for the team.
My older sister has recently became a new pet owner of a 16 week old german shepherd. I have taken on the responsibility to watch over the dog when my sister isn't home. Lastly I am interested in working for this amazing company for three reasons. One of three reasons is, I have been a pet owner my whole life. When I was younger, I owned a pet tortoise, and a bearded dragon lizard. They both did acceptingly well. My second reason, is all my life, I have gone on fishing trips with my family. this made me fall in love with the idea of fish, and learning about them. My third and final reason, is I have been a fish owner for the past 4 years. I have bought my fish tank and all accessories from Aquatica, including my fish. My fish have been doing very well, and I am extremely good at taking care of all of them. I take pride in maintaining the fish tank, and making sure the fish live in the healthiest environment possible. I feed the fish everyday, and clean the tank thoroughly when it needs to be clean. I would love to be given the opportunity to work for Aquatica. Thank you.
Sincerely: Jacob Federici
