● Supervised 30-50 Team Members to ensure great customer service was provided to all customers in and out of the store at all times.

● Made sure to read and understand all policies related to Menards and it's counterparts, in order to provide proper training to all Team Members.

● Train any and all Team Members in the Front End of the store regardless of new hire or existing Team Members.

● Set up store invoices and remit for payment to the correct channels.

● Look for new hires and determine whether they would be suitable for the Front End.

● Terminate Team Members as outlined in Menards Policy.

● Open the store in the morning, and close the store as needed.

● Ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient manner by Team Members.

● Operate a forklift for customers and unload freight as necessary.

● Understand and be able to operate under any other departments in the store.

● Learn and understand the firearms and accessories available.

● Listen and understand customers needs to provide the best level of customer service.

● Learn the policies of Ace Hardware and use them to train other Team Members.

● Set up and coordinate gun shows and banquets to increase sales and community relationships.

● Helped sales departments during slow periods of sales and customer traffic.

● Supervised inmates to provide security and safety to the public.

● Passed out medication to inmates as directed by supervisors.

● Learn and understand policies of the Department of Corrections.

● Learn the firearms and accessories sold in the department to provide to customers.

● Learn local, state and federal laws pertaining to firearms and there counterparts.

● Train new Team Members about the products offered and the laws behind selling firearms and there counterparts.

● Assist other parts of the store during slow periods and low customer traffic.
