My name is Jacoya Upshaw and I am a foster care Treatment Coordinator. I have been working in foster care with children and families for six years now. I have experience working with children, families, children with disabilities, and older adults. My current job specializes in Mental Health services for foster care youth who have a mental health diagnosis. I am skilled in strong communication, a team worker, effective time management, the ability to work in a diverse environment, empathy, organization, active listening, critical thinking, independent work, and patience. I graduated in 2018 from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree in social work. My passion for helping people is significant and it defines who I am. My uniqueness as an individual will be a great asset to your company. I am a hard worker, dedicated, and very dependable. In addition, I have just applied to graduate school for my Master's in Social Work. My goal is to expand my knowledge and experience in working with people in the community.
