  • As the safety and training manager, responsibilities included making sure that drivers are following the rules of the road and driving safely by using the 5 Smith Keys of driving
  • Currently responsible for monitoring drive-cam event recorders and providing coaching on unsafe driving behaviors and providing retraining when needed
  • Facilitate all classroom training for new hires as well as re-hires and coordinate the hands-on training with other facilitators at this location
  • All training record keeping, and monthly reports are completed and emailed to upper management by months end.
  • All accident and injury reports are filed within 24 hours of the occurrence
  • Oversee for all driver evaluations for quarterly requirements based on created timelines.
  • Monthly safety meetings are held in a timely manner and usually are scheduled to accommodate all drivers by our staff, driver trainers and training mangers.
  • Safety spot checks, uniform compliance and positive check in procedures were performed at random
  • Monitor First Advantage monthly to implement lists of operators who need random drug and alcohol testing

  • My main responsibilities as Program Coordinator in the Memory Impaired unit was to plan and implement a variety of programs which met the diverse social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical needs of all the residents
  • I also planned musical entertainment as well as pet therapy and had a local daycare come in to interact with the residents
  • We also planned many family events where residents would cook and bake for the event and the items would be served when family members arrived
  • We also planned a tag sale every year to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Walk
  • The residents would help sort, price and sell the items and then would participate in the walk in New Haven
  • I would also plan different themed days and implement programs accordingly
  • Programs would not be limited to me running them, I was able to get the maintenance department involved in a 'Men’s Club', the housekeeping department would have residents help clean their apartments and the cooking staff would assist with preparations for the family events
