My role as a server at Outback Steakhouse consist of many skills that are transferrable and can be used for many other careers. I am responsible for leaving guest with lasting impressions when they enter the restaurant, thus making my job one of the most important tasks. While working here I have learned how to accommodate guests while also leaving them with positive thoughts about me from our interactions. I have learned how to multitask and still ensure that I am taking care of every guest and assuring them that I am there to satisfy their idea of a wonderful dining experience. While working at this job you will encounter many different individuals with many different personalities which has helped me to increase my understanding, see many different point of views, the ability to work under pressure, and proper and engaging communication skills. Therefore, this job has acted as a stepping stone for me leaving me with valuable skills that I can take to be successful elsewhere.
