My goal is to provide technically accurate, user friendly, operationally complete, and timely produced documentation. I am known for my collaborative work approach and adaptability to dynamic project needs. My responsibilities as a technical writer include but are not limited to: understand task instruction, requirements per standards and specifications, and supplemented and/or superseding instruction by client. Document requirements include knowing types of source data required (e.g. drawings or interviews of subject matter experts) for content development. When working with legacy source data from previously delivered documentation, I look to be proactive in identifying outdated content and/or areas requiring updates to met the current standard and ensure technical accuracy. I quantify and report all changes to documentations from In-Process Reviews (IPRs), Validations, and Verification events. I also serve as the technical editor and subject matter expert in documentation standard requirements. I perform the internal review on documentation produced and oversee administration of style templates used for documentation production and am a resource for questions from our writing team. As a technical editor I review the document for content clarity, quality of presentation, adherence to task requirements, and provide recommendations for improvement. A review of the documentation quality includes a second proofing for spelling, grammar and formatting issues. I have written, updated, reviewed, and participated in the following types of documentation: user guides, software documentation, technical bulletins and manuals, reference cards and manuals, computer-based training modules, logistic support documentation, and legacy conversion.
