- Sell all forms of NJ TRANSIT Rail Tickets.
- Required to quote fares and schedules for NJ TRANSIT Trains.
- Must have full knowledge of revenue rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Responsible for the collection and deposit of Trainmen's remittances.
- Must document and perform physical banking for all ticket window activity and set deposits.
- Must monitor the operation of the ticket vending machines at designated terminals. Responsible for light maintenance and ticket/journal stock replenishment.
- Required to assist passengers with the operation of the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) malfunctions and complete the required documents to accommodate their traveling arrangements. ]May be required to exchange cash vaults, coin drums, and auxiliary coin vaults with an armored car during scheduled service calls.
- Must comply with all rules and regulations regarding dress code, courteous assistance to the traveling public, attendance, conduct, safety, and revenue handling.
