- While still being a salaried manager, I transferred to the Academy portion of the store. This is when I began my role as a facilitator of knowledge, teaching and training hourly and salaried leaders. Aside from the focus on Food and Consumables classes I was in charge of facilitating, I was specifically chosen to be the Facilitator of Automotive classes as well as the Inclusive Leadership classes we offered at the time. As a part of the Automotive classes, I was sent to Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas to do a 1 week training program on the automotive part of the business. I drive a +90% NPS rating from participants surveys and I have had multiple people come back to let me know how impactful my training was. I am also a proctor for the Food Safety Certification tests.

- Applied for and was selected to manage a pilot program within the company. This pilot program made me the only Fresh Coach in the market and there was no guidebook as to how to be more successful in this new re-structuring. I was successful in getting a 7% YTD total area sales comp in a highly competitive market that also had a Kroger, Publix, Aldi and a brand new Lidl down the road from my store. Owned competition shopping for my store and routinely adjusted merchandising strategy to beat local competition. At the time, my area averaged +12% total box sales. Fresh area sales broke the 8 digit mark (+$10m YTD) under my lead. Was Manager on Duty for the entire store during the initial COVID outbreak in the US, necessitating quick pivots to operational strategy and compliance.

- In 2018, I transferred to the local Walmart store that was both the Market Office as well as the Academy store. While still being an operations manager over the fresh food departments, (at the time) the Academy stores were held to much higher expectations than regular stores due to local Walmart leadership are sent to the Academy store for training. I was successful in scoring all greens in all Ecolab visits and Academy Audits, as well as getting multiple above standard visits from senior company leaders.
