• TBS-ZD is a music and service oriented sorority at the University of Kansas. We are heavily involved with the school of music, students, and community around the area to support them with community services, fundraisers, music events, etc. Finishing year two, I was voted in for the position of Vice President of Service which is the position to coordinate and manage both music and community service events for both the school and community. I am currently an active alumni of the organization, still helping with all I can!

• While being an active member of TBS-ZD, I was also participating in the KUMJ as an alto saxophone among 350+ other members. Always assisted to help rehearsals, game days, and events run smoothly, from always knowing the schedule and where to be and when, to making sure everyone is prepared in more ways than one, like it’s the back of my own hand. And no matter the circumstances, keeping up my emotional poise.

• During my high school career I was a member of the OP Latinos, which was part of the Diversity Club. I started as an active member and worked my way to hold the position as President of the Diversity club, and Co-President of the OP Latinos my junior and senior year. To summarize the positions, I coordinated events for the clubs for all to attend and participate in and had our voices heard throughout the school district for things to be bettered and fixed while celebrating our multi cultural backgrounds.
