  • Planned and implemented various yearly equipment upgrade projects to replace older equipment in data and network centers. These projects included removal of older physical servers and replacing them with newer Nutanix blades. Removal of older backup equipment which was replaced by newer Rubrik models. As well as helping coordinate efforts with vendors to deploy and configure storage and backup equipment at international locations.
  • Provided end-to-end management of infrastructure for Tiffany’s top projects, such as SQL upgrade project to patch and upgrade 640 SQL database servers with latest patch to be compliant. Upgrade Control-M and OnDemand application servers and re-platformed applications from AIX platform to Linux platform. Collaborated with another project manager to successfully upgrade 1200 Microsoft 2008 servers to new OS, Microsoft 2012 and managed migrations of applications from older servers to new servers. Also upgrade 800 SQL database servers from SQL 2006 to SQL 2012 and managed migration of applications from older databases to new databases
  • Devised strategies to successfully complete data migration project which included migration of +26million data files from individual file servers to new shared location and implemented data retention rules. Trained users on how to access new data.
  • Other projects and activities include helping PMO office with bi-weekly portfolio review meetings. Training managers and directors to use ServiceNow tool to submit resource plans and project demands. Oversee and manage companies Disaster Recover Exercise.
