M.E. Manager Body Shop - Maintenance, controls, laser weld support for body production. Manage PM program. Throughput analysis and improvement on constant basis. Equipment uptime management, Lineside critical spare inventory, shutdown planning, labor analysis and cost management for department.

Dimensional Control / Weld Engineering / Incoming Quality: Manage control plan for dimensional measurements, joining (spot weld, laser weld, adhesive), and surface quality. Manage Incoming part quality inspection process and reaction plan. Assist with ICA / design PCAs for body shop quality concerns.

• Monitor and improve throughput via FIS reporting tools and self directed project creation / implementation.

• Supported launch activities for body construction engineering related to control standard implementation.

• Oversaw all maintenance activities for the Casting Department, including electrical and mechanical maintenance functions
• Trained and developed five direct Report Managers to provide supervision and planning activities for over 40 maintenance technicians
• Planned, organized and executed weekly maintenance repair turns, mini maintenance outages and a successful maintenance outage with a $4.1 million budget
• Increased performance and start-up rate after repair turns and maintenance outages due to the appointment of specific job functions to quality team members
• Efficiently utilized workforce to execute repair plans and reduce delay rates by using preventative and predictive maintenance practices
• Worked directly with various vendors on service work and equipment builds, including the redesign, machining, assembly and installation of key mechanical components
• Assisted other units of operation throughout the corporation during their maintenance outages
• 1 year assignment as Area Manager Cold Mill Production during drive upgrade.
