I was recruited by Chewy TA Leadership to join as a Senior Technical Recruiter. I supported the Corporate Technical Supply Chain Organization recruiting mid-level to AD level roles. TPM, SDE/SWE, BIE, DS and MLE roles (please inquire for any clarifications). I also contributed in Program and Project Management Capacities working in the DEI space, as well as Corporate and Campus Events. Utilizing my experience and network in the Minneapolis areas I built out Chewy's Enterprise "Event Recruitment Playbook". This Playbook is utilized for all Corporate Events in the Minneapolis Market, which was new to Chewy when I joined in 2022. I had additional Project Management experience as the leader of a nine-month candidate experience enhancement project which consisted of the creation of candidate experience guides sent to candidates of all levels who enter the recruitment process at Chewy. My employment was impacted along with 220 other members of Chewy due to a RIF on November 5th, 2023. My first year resulted in a, "Exceeds Expectations" and I was eligible for a promotion to Recruiting Manager role at time of RIF.
Initially tasked with Strategic Development of Deluxe's Campus Recruitment, this role grew quickly. I evolved into main point of contact for all of Deluxe Campus recruiting efforts. Collaboratively designed and strategically scaled the program from 19 interns to 56 interns. Examples: Epayments, SAAS Services, Web Services, Social Media Design & Hosting, Email Marketing Services, Promotional Products and Apparel. In the 6 months I was in the role we grew the Team from 1 to 4.
Proactively identified and closed on Epayment, SAAS and Marketing and Payment Products to Deluxe's 10 Million + Small Business customers. Throughout my time in this role I also actively participated in leadership strategy meetings and interviewing potential candidates. I had two six-month stints that I served as a Sales Coach for representatives who recently had moved out of sales training.
