  • Program manager for community-led BIPOC Environmental Justice community project funded by the Environmental Justice Fun (City of Seattle)
  • Researched Environmental Justice burdens in the Duwamish Valley (Air pollution, Superfund Site, Gentrification, Displacement, etc)
  • Maintained and tracked Ignited Phoenix budget
  • Recruited 7 diverse community members who I had never met or worked with before (Black, Asian and Hispanic/mixed) who also knew little to nothing about the Environmental Burdens happening in their neighborhood of South Park

  • Created educational materials to convey important information to the workshop participants

  • If you spill milk on the counter and floor, you do not clean the floor before the countertops, as more milk could spill and cleaning would have been "for nothing", same goes for Source control in the Duwamish River, we must first stop the sources of contamination from entering the river (or most of it) in order for the cleanup to take place or else it won't be effective and there is a bigger risk of it become recontaminated
