- What started as helping a friend out in his garage, quickly became the best move in terms of learning what hard work and dedication can do, as far as building a thriving business from the ground up. When I was hired on, PLG went under the brand name 'Moosehead Knox' and consisted of just a few close friends. Long story short, after rebranding we ended up becoming a multi-million dollar company and industry leader. The marketing genius behind PLG, Curtis Matsko, saw something in me and took a chance hiring me on as production lead when I had no prior experience. I started out assembling and personalizing bags and leather journals. As the business grew, I assisted in hiring more talented people on who were instrumental in the company's growth. I was in charge of the vast inventory of hardware and leather hides. I also played an integral role in marketing, modeling, quality control and production flow infrastructure.

- During the electronic cigarette surge of the early 2010's I saw an opportunity make a little money, while helping people quit smoking. Not necessarily expecting to make a living wage, my hobby turned into an avenue for self-employment. Brand popularity began during the Holidays when I reluctantly rolled out my 'Holiday Eggfog' as a trendy gift idea more than anything. To my surprise, interest spiked, and I found myself making money hand over fist. Apparently, I had a knack for mixology. The following year, more flavor profiles like Crispy Cream Custard, Peach Pie Moonshine, Kentucky Bourbon & Waffles and Bearded Man's Breakfast made their debut. Adhering to ever-changing regulations was a challenge to say the least. I sold to many of the larger vape stores in the Portland area. I'm proud to say, those who were around at the time know me as a pioneer in the industry. I made some good money along the way. Eventually, more corporate-friendly regulations crippled the local industry, and it made small business' of my type no longer sustainable.
