Summary

Jeremiah Stewart is an aspiring professional composer and composer currently working in both Burlington Vermont and Hartford Connecticut, currently studying music composition at the Hartt School of Music. Jeremiah experiments in a lot of different genres and styles, with a wide and diverse musical background, having played in a number of orchestras as a cellist, a huge amount of different choirs, opera programs, and even a few rock bands.

His compositional influences include;

  • Early 20th Century Classical (Shostakovich, Lili Boulanger)
  • Baroque (Purcell, J.S. Bach)
  • Post-Minimalism (John Adams, Steve Reich, Julius Eastman)
