Safety- review all osha recordable injuries and report to the plant, establish countermeasure activities. Review all daily walk ups and medical reports.
Quality- Responsible for all quality items for entire line, work with production managers to set up counter measures.
Delivery- Responsible for all major downtime triggers and gaps in production, Work with other departments on meeting plant delivery targets
Cost-Manage assembly business plan targets for 6 major categories.
Morale- Review all associate recognition and Voluntary involvement programs.
Work with all cross functional leaders for department categories related to business plan items.
Set up succession planning for direct reports
Work on retention plans and future vision of department
Manage 4 areas on assembly line - 50-70 direct reports
Oversee budget for area.
Counter measure gaps in business planning
