• Experienced, knowledgeable and skilled has a Field Technician for Storm Water Monitoring, Groundwater Monitoring, Surface Water Monitoring, Chromium Project and associated Drilling Operations. I supported Storm Water Monitoring, Groundwater Monitoring, Surface Water Monitoring, Chromium Project and associated Drilling Operations. As a Field Technician I performed Water Well maintenance, installed Water Well pumps, replaced Transducers pools and obtained data from Transducer pools, performed water well sampling. Ensured work was being performed in a safe and professional manner by monitoring ongoing work. Performed inspections and utilized procedures to maintain facility equipment configuration within established operating limits. Maintained quality control throughout the sample collection process. Maintained logs (and other documentation as required) of equipment status, equipment inspection sheets, etc. Knowledgeable of the facility safety, security, and compliance envelopes. Coordinate maintenance work and service outages as directed by the Supervisor. Took action to protect equipment from damage, and/or affecting operating status of the facility. Supported the Chromium Project as well as water well maintenance, installation of water well pumps, water well sampling, replaced transducer pulls and obtained data downloads from transducer pulls. Installed and set-up Telemetric boxes which included performance of maintenance on the telemetric boxes, performed packer maintenance, qualified on packer pressures, including checking valves. Reset protective devices per laboratory requirements. Implemented and complied with Conduct of Operations Program elements at various facilities. Performed field observations and assessments as directed by the Supervisor. Kept the Supervisor and Operations Center informed of the operational status of each well in the facilities. Authority to suspend any activities that may be considered unsafe or in violation of approved procedures at the facility. Accountable for maintaining the status of the wells and associated equipment, maintaining proper system alignments and approved configuration, and reporting abnormal conditions to the Supervisor and Operations Center. Instrumental and participated in the successful completion of the 2017-2018 Area G FRA, MSAs, CRAs, IVRs, DOE, assessments to perform remediation of the Nitrate Salt Containers (RNS). Which resulted in the successful completion of the RNS Campaign, having SAFELY, COMPLIANTLY and EFFECTIVELY treated and rendered safe Remediation Nitrate Salt (RNS) waste that was among the most hazardous in the Department Of Energy complex, which was also a Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico and United States National milestone. This required implementing a new Operations Center, development and implementation of a new Safety Basis, Procedure set, training plans, On the job training, and Emergency Response Program. Skilled and knowledgeable as a Qualified RCRA Inspector in Compliance with RCRA Permits and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Waste Facility Permit. Demonstrated performance in TSR Compliance, which includes thorough detailed performance of Surveillances, In-Service Inspections (ISI’s) on Safety Class/Safety Significant Systems to meet safety basis requirements and to maintain the Safety Envelope. Possess in-depth knowledge and skilled by performing receipt inspections and Off Site Waste Container shipments which include but were not limited to performance of waste container integrity inspections, labeling, weighing, transporting, review of shipping papers such as Manifest. Waste Characterization of chemical and hazardous materials. Updated waste container inventory and waste container information in WCATs. Experienced in performing wall-to-wall inventory of Transuranic Waste /Low Level Waste Containers using WCATs. Verified waste containers match those listed on shipping manifest. Execution of operations was performed in accordance with the WIPP WAC requirements, waste regulation requirements and RCRA Permit Requirements using IWDs, Use Every Time (UET) procedures and Reference Procedures. Experienced and possess in-depth knowledge reviewing Real Time Radiography (RTR) tapes to perform waste characterization/waste disposition/waste minimization on legacy TRU waste containers by performing an item-by-item characterization of heterogeneous/homogenous/sludge drums, visual examination and prohibited item disposition. Performed Waste Container preparation for 30, 55, 85, 110 gallon drums, SWBs, B-25’s, ST-90’s containers in accordance with manufacture specifications. Performed bag-on bag-outs, glovebox glove changes, HEPA filter changes working at the Waste Characterization Reduction and Repackaging Facility (WCRRF) in the Waste Characterization Glovebox and Glovebag Operations for the Debris Line projects at TA-54 Area G
