  • Management of a successful quality improvement program with professionalism, excellent relationship management, quality improvement facilitation and project management skills.
  • A systems lens is used to identify projects using the data in WCTO quality indicators as well as local DHB needs. The regional SUDI prevention programme is woven into the programme.
  • Led the development of the TAS WCTO dashboard - to view quality indicators in longitudinal view, and with equity comparisons.
  • Work with 15 Iwi/Maori WCTO providers across the Central Region and 6 DHBs and their associated operational and planning leadership team, general practice teams, midwifery leaders and consumers.
  • Current project management for national school based health services enhancement programme - led by the Ministry of Health
  • Supported the Ministry of Health with the National review of Well Child Tamariki Ora services.
  • 2018 -2019 Implemented a successful project in the MidCentral DHB improving the effective transfer of care from community midwives to Well Child Tamariki Ora providers.
  • 2019-2020 Supported the Child Development services across the Central region with the administration of 3 improvement and innovation projects and increased capacity funding.
  • 2020-21 Supported the Primary Maternity interface group in Whanganui DHB with the development of a quality improvement project to enable women to navigate the pregnancy journey successfully.

Provide Well Child Tamariki Ora sector perspective to the Ministry of Health led Covid-19 governance group. Undertook a real time evaluation of WCTO provider's experiences during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. This evaluation was developed into a report and later was included in the national Well Child Tamariki Ora review findings. Provided advice on the content of the guidance documents to the sector to support the response to the changes in lockdown levels.
