Responsible for getting lab work such as blood work, urine, cultures and wound swabs. Complete EKG's in a timely manner, assist in emergency situations such as trauma patients during a MVC, code, SOA, etc. I check people into triage and assessing them as soon as they walk into the door, provide patient care such as getting vitals or taking them to the restroom. I also work as a mental health sitter when needed to provide a safe environment for us as staff as well as the patient.
