Jesus Yanez Berber

I have made significant career advancements, transitioning from a landscaper to a newly certified clinical medical assistant. As a child of immigrants, I thought that pursuing a career in the medical field with my background would have been impossible, as I was always hesitant to take on the opportunities at hand. Discouraged by my circumstances, I was reluctant to follow through, believing that the fields awaited me once I graduated from high school. Thankfully I was given chance to attend the SRJC right after high school. Later on I received an email regarding a medical assistant program being offered by a clinc near where I live. It inspired me to take the initiation and pursue a career in the medical field.
