I am passionate about nursing and aspire to be a sensitive, caring and impactful nurse. My journey into nursing began with my father, who was at risk for diabetes and often relied on medication to control his blood sugar. He would ask me to inject medicine into his stomach or arm. I want to learn more nursing knowledge to take care of the people around me and contribute to medical care.

I firmly believe that the nursing profession requires cheerfulness, patience, and perseverance in ethics. My goal is to become a registered nurse proficient in geriatric care and improve the quality of life of geriatric patients by providing compassionate care.

The KU School of Nursing is known for its educational excellence and passionate faculty. I believe the learning opportunities provided here will make me an excellent nurse who can support the community with my cheerful personality and skills.

I feel very honored to apply to the KU School of Nursing, and I can’t wait to learn and grow with the professors and classmates here, and work hard to realize my nursing dream.
