I am a glider pilot and a private power pilot; I've been flying since I was 13, and I've grown up around airports; I aspire to be a commercial airline pilot like my father. During the summers (prior to football), I volunteer in National and Regional gilder tournaments across the country, running the line operations. This involves instructing young local kids on how to properly connect gliders to moving power aircraft as well as the dynamic of operating on a busy runway. I guide these teens for several weeks. Throughout the year. I also volunteer to help with homeless veterans at my stepmother's VA office. I am a 2 sport varsity athlete and during my time away from football and basketball, I teach kids in grades K-8 football and basketball skills at my school camps run through NextLevel. I strive to be the best version of myself whether that is in my sports or in school. I earned my high school's Academic Block L Award for maintaining a GPA of 3.7 or above for 5 consecutive grading periods. North Coast Section CIF interscholastic award for a 3.7 or higher GPA as an athlete.
I feel I am a reliable, proactive, hard-working person, and I take pride in everything I do. I think that Dick Sporting Goods is a great fit for me because it encompasses everything I love. I have knowledge and expertise from playing football and basketball which gives me an upper hand when helping customers, and due to my experience as a retail associate working at Volcom, I will have no trouble in the clothes department as well.
