Became fluent in accessing SOC Medicaid and getting this underserved population help with the labrinth of insurance companies and need for compliance to early and more cumbersome HAART than is available today.

Started working for Walmart in 1993 - at then the second busiest Rx in the chain. Transferred from Fort Myers back to east coast several years in due to death in family . Average Monday RX volume was 700 to 900 rxs on average at the time at SFM Rx.

Pharmacist in charge for an outpatient stem cell cancer treatment based program in the early 1990's. Used infusion background and clinic background extensively. Loved the job, hated Tampa.

Originally hired as 50% infusion/50% Clozaril Patient Management System...wound up being one of 2 pharmacists dispensing Clozaril under a pharmacist managed system in the state of FL at that time. Program became focus of 24 SAG's attack at the end of it. Caremark, Roche , and Sandoz were involoved in suit over the remarketing of the drug/lab and dispensing of Clozaril.

Started at DCH once relaocated from Tampa and transfered to West Boca Medical Center 2 years in with the company (now known as Tenet) Performed all functions of pharmacist in hospital settings .WBMC had pediatric populations and an intensive pediatric and neonatal ICU.

Did 7 months of a pharmacy residency at the Tampa VA -rotations in oncology, spinal cord injury , pharmacy management, drug information and coumadin clinic, among others. Left residncy due to death in family.

Started as a Technician 1 through to becoming IV trained and internally certified to a technician 2, working my way through pharmacy school and obtaining extensive hospital training in pharmacy in a then 399 teaching hospital environment in Boston 's South End. Graduated in December of 1984 and passed my MA Boards to become a staff pharmacist at this institution for all of 6 month's . Performed all aspects of a staff pharmacist in a teaching environment inclusive of initial computerization, unit dose, IV admixture, TPN, and chemotherapy preparation and dispensing.
