In December of 2007, I was approached by Alcohol Law Enforcement of North Carolina, also known as 'A.L.E.', to join law enforcement individuals in randomly checking for the illegal sale of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Lottery Tickets. In order to be able to do the Job 15 out of 25 random people had to guess that I was my age or younger, if there were 16 people that said I was older than 16 years old I would have been denied. I passed that test with 22 of 25, saying I looked 16 or younger. I went on to having a 93.4% success rate of being able to buy any of the three prohibited items, per my age. Good for me, but not so good for the clerks at these establishments.
