• Ensign-San Pedro Manor, CI Manuel Rios PTA, Clinical rotations I, 2024, Caseload consisting mostly of Neuro patients, focusing on functional interventions and long-term care. I worked with patients that had altered mental statuses CVA, and Parkinson’s patients. I provided superficial and deep thermal modalities for pain modulation and provided manual therapy for contracture relief and prevention. I became proficient with the use of NetHealth documentation software.
• Community Care Partners -Pro Sports Rehab, CI Fernando Torres PT, Clinical rotations II, 2024, Treated mostly workers comp patients that worked with NISD and displayed with low back pain or were recovering from upper extremity injuries due to falls. There were patients that were members of law enforcement and the fire department that sustained work-related injuries. I provided manual therapy such as myofascial release and joint mobilizations. There, I familiarized myself with TheraOffice software for patient documentation.
• University Health SystemsUniversity Hospital, CI Kristina Quiles PTA, Clinical rotations III, 2024, A very fast paced environment and setting that dealt with a lot of different diagnosis. A lot of patients were seen having syncopal events, altered mental status, CVA and mild to moderate traumatic events. Displayed proficient use of EPIC Healthcare for patient documentation.
