Oversee programs focused on research and education, transgender justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion on HBCU campuses, HIV prevention and PrEP access, and enhancing knowledge and leadership capabilities within the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community. Foster a Foundation-wide culture of mentorship and leadership development.

• Manage the largest grant received in HRCF History ($5 million); oversee program planning and budget allocation for multiple grant funded programs

• Collaborated with local board members and volunteer leaders to recruit, engage, develop and retain a dedicated local volunteer workforce of grassroots and political organizers and fundraisers
• Facilitated onboarding and continuing education trainings, for new and existing board members.
• Plan and conduct annual leadership retreats for volunteer committees across the country
• Strategize, develop, and implement work plans to guide them in accomplishing their local fundraising, membership, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI, and volunteer engagement goals

Organized and facilitated consensus studies, public convenings, and other research-based activities to foster better measures and understanding of public health, crime, education, data collection, and other social science-related public policy issues. (see below for list of publications)

Provided written and technical expertise to support the 2020 Decennial Census Directorate and the American Community Survey Office (ACSO) in their mission to provide accurate, timely, and relevant information about the United States population, economy, and governments

• Oversaw procedures and managed content for paper-and-pencil questionnaires, Non-Response Follow-Up, Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI, Blaise), and web-based survey instruments
• Researched, tested, and developed new question content for ACSO. Made procedural recommendations for future testing
• Worked with Spanish content team to compose and incorporate Spanish translations of new and revised ACSO English text
• Drafted flow charts, testing, and data validation requirements for our English and Spanish internet and follow-up data collection instruments

Co-Founder of a non-profit women’s semi-professional tackle football team in the Women’s National Football Conference
