- I am a receiver and my main responsibilities are to make sure i receive the merchandise in an acceptable condition and checking the packing slips i receive, to be sure i am receiving everything I cut the shrink wrap and take it apart and go line by line checking off as i confirm the items. Once i make sure everything is good to go i grab my “RF” gun to scan and write the proper SKU on the box and note the quantity i receive on the scan gun. When everything is checked in and received i print the receiving report order and finalize the paperwork by double checking everything i scan and was in fact received and the correct item and turn it in to our clerk lady in the office. I am also able to shrink wrap, print out necessary labels using either the scan gun or our computer program “IMU” i can operate a pallet jack and ship out boxes. I have on some occasions ran the entire warehouse by myself and operate in a well timely manner with no issues
