  • Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. (Large U.S. Aerospace and Defense Contractor). Led the redesign of the supply chain function to better integrate the engineering, procurement, contracting and logistics operations to achieve aggressive company growth goals in the Federal market. This transformation effort included the re-design of processes, an organizational re-design and the implementation of a new management system to drive behavior change and results attainment. This project opened new revenue channels and led to increases in contract value from Army and Air Force customers.
  • Toronto Hydro-Electric System (Large Electric Public Utility). Refined the company's management system which I originally architected and implemented following amalgamation. This system was credited with company's outstanding operational performance during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lock-down despite the implementation of severe restrictions on organized labor. Made strategic, critical post COVID-19 review of the company relative to the way the business is run, performance is managed and shareholder expectations are being met in this new environment.

  • Served as the Government of Canada (GOC) and the A&D Industry Independent 3rd Party for 5 years. Cleared on CLASSIFIED programs. Acted as senior advisor and intermediary between Ministers, Government officials and A&D Industry Executive Leadership in U.S. and Canada. Ensured alignment was maintained at the highest levels on major defense acquisition programs and capital investments.
  • Led transformational management consulting and technology revenue growth with DoD clients such as PEO Aviation, PEO CS&CSS, TACOM, AMCOM, CECOM, US TRANSCOM, Army Materiel Command, and Ogden Air Logistics Complex; with U.S. Federal clients such as the CDC and DLA-E; with Canadian clients such as the Ministries of National Defence, Public Services and Procurement, and Fisheries; with Commercial clients such as Irving Shipbuilding, Seaspan Shipyards and Public Utilities. Supported expansion of footprint at UTC/P&W and UTC/Raytheon. Established strategic GTM alliances with Raytheon and McChrystal Group as alternative revenue channels into Federal markets.
  • Recognized by the Government of Canada and the U.S. and Canadian A&D Industry leadership for architecting and leading the restructure and turnaround of one of largest, most strategic and troubled capital acquisition programs in Canada's history. Member of the Deputy Ministers Governance Committee, along with CEOs of GD Mission Systems, Lockheed Martin Sikorsky and L3Harris Integrated Maritime Solutions. This program is now the standard for acquisition program management and system development.
  • Led critical analysis for Minister of National Defence of the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy (NSPS) designed to recapitalize the Canadian shipbuilding industry through acquisition of multiple combatant and non-combatant fleets of vessels. Worked with major commercial shipbuilders and the Government to recommend and implement a restructure of NSPS to meet its planned financial, operational and national economic impact targets.

  • Launched the cleared U.S. Government business subsidiary (CGSI) that grew to a $10M business. This contributed to the growth of Celerant as one of the largest, privately held management consulting firms focusing on operations management in the world. Celerant was sold to Hitachi and became its management consulting vertical. Held TOP SECRET/ SCI clearance.
  • Selected as one of the 25 most influential consultants in the U.S. for applying commercial Continuous Process Improvement best-practices to the CDC with strategic impact at the Agency level. Improved grant and contract cycle time at onset of the H1N1 virus by 30%. This success led CDC to change the way they value and measure public health impact resulting from such work. This contract represented the largest technology enabled consulting project in the history of the CDC.
  • Dramatically improved DoD operational readiness and FMS Program performance while transforming the way multiple ACAT 1 programs budget, contract, systems engineer, imbed technology and execute their logistics functions. Under contract to the DoD, optimized Sikorsky's and Boeing's upstream supply networks to the benefit of multiple U.S. Army Aviation platforms.

  • Led major A&D precision guided weapon system programs and operations, such as derivatives of the HARM missile, AIM-9X and Paveway Programs.
  • Led implementation of the first organized Lean Manufacturing initiative which imbedded Lean principles in the organization.
  • Recognized as one of the early architects of Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) in the nation. IPPD established Government and A&D standards, adopted by DAU, for the simultaneous integration of all essential acquisition activities to optimize system development, manufacturing, and supportability processes.
  • Significantly contributed to TI Defense becoming the first A&D contractor to ever win the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
  • Simultaneously a member of the peer-selected Technical Staff and Management Team, a state rarely achieved.
  • Presented Corporate TI Quality Award in recognition of distinguished achievements and for service to the broader national A&D community through the advancement of the systems engineering discipline and professional program management in DoD acquisition program lifecycle management.
