Summary

Graduate from University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Sciences. Started career in biotechnology field as Lab Support for ABCAMs Cell line Development, and IVD platforms. Worked very hard and displayed my passion for cell biology and earned a promotion as a Research Associate with ABCAMs Cell Line Engineering Platform. Performed many CRISPR large basepair gene knockouts with an emphasis on human cells such (SHSY-5Y, PINK1KO-SHSY5Y, HCT116, and A549). After one year of planning and executing CRISPR projects, ABCAMs site in California was preparing to close. While the rest of ABCAM unfortunately got laid off, ABCAM promoted me to Lab and Workplace Manager to execute relocation project of their In Vitro Diagnostic's team to Waltham, MA.
