I made sure the shelves were zoned and faced while providing excellent customer service. I treated my fellow employees and the customers with respect and generosity. I also ran the power equipment such as the propane powered forklift, the reach truck, and the order picker. I would also ensure that every product was correctly labeled and priced, and at the end of my shift I would put back all the returns and clean and sweep the department I was working.

I earned the rank of Lance Corporal. I was awarded the National Defense Ribbon for joining the military during a time of war. I earned the Rifle Expert Badge as well. I worked with different types of explosives such as C4, T.N.T., dynamite, and ammonium nitrate. I also learned a lot about both construction as well as deconstruction. I also kept my work area and my barracks spotless and organized.

• Assisted with construction of defensive positions, bridges, and roads.
• Erected barbed wire fences around bases for security purposes.
• Maintained records of all supplies used in engineering projects.
• Operated wheeled vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways for support of combat operations
• Located and neutralized various types of mines and IEDs.
