When I first entered high school, my sister's husband opened a taco shop. I was never a real employee; I came when I didn't have work and had time to just help.

I would sit people down and also take orders. The shop had just opened up, so we didn't have much help, and it was me doing most of it on the floor.

I adapted to it fast, including communication skills, ordering skills, server skills, and patience.

While working at this job, I was an apprentice; I was taken to different job sites around the DC/MD area.

While I was here, I was dealing with many high-value customers one-on-one at different job sites. Sometimes, it was about selling our business to the client or convincing them that our services were more than just services, but also a bond to help one another.

One very big achievement was going from apprentice tech to being only a tech. I had learned the company's materials and learned how to do the job within three months. I learned how to deal with all the obstacles in my way and how to fix them while still bringing in more clients and keeping our clients happy with our services.
