Josie Self

After High School and receiving my Cosmetology Degree, I worked in the Cosmetology field for 4 years. I put my career on hold to start my family and had my son Cody. Once my son was old enough to start school I began working for the surrounding Livestock Auction Barns. I traveled to several different locations and worked for many different employers, these auctions were held once a week which allowed me to work for several different auctions at a time. I continued to do this for approximately 40 years. I formed many amazing working relationships which would all be happy to provide references if needed.

Wanting to scale back from traveling and stay closer to home, a friend had told me the prison needed dependable help and said I was her fist thought. I applied at the prison and became their Medical Clerk. I stayed at this position until having to resign due to my husbands failing health. After the passing of my husband I began to work many different part time jobs at which I continue to do to date.
