  • The plans were to begin as an LPO as a Mississippi charter was being sought in order to branch the bank into Mississippi
  • The decision was made in February 2009 that due to the economic conditions the charter would be put on hold at this time
  • My focus of building the LPO was semi redirected as I was assigned a large portion of the residential construction portfolio in Memphis to manage and work through as the bank had decided to close that department.
  • The growth focus of DeSoto County was removed in 2009 & 2010 as my responsibility was to manage the construction portfolio as it was being phased out of the bank
  • The LPO office became profitable in 2009 and is on pace to produce an estimated $250,000 net profit in 2010.

  • This position required the ongoing monitoring of these loans as well as calling on new customer prospects for loans and deposits
  • The duties I was responsible for as Compliance officer included the ongoing training of the Lending staff to ensure a satisfactory compliance review
  • An internal compliance exam was completed by the Audit department in June 2002 and was rated on a scale of 1-5 a Level 2, which only required a response to one area of deficiency
  • The same exam conducted the previous year was rated a Level 3.
