I am currently a graduate of Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I worked at Maris Grove retirement home from December 2018-October 2023. My duties at Maris Grove included being a server, trainer, and hostess. Those positions required me to serve elderly residents their food, take their orders, bus their tables, and assign their tables as a hostess. Since I was promoted to trainer, it has been my duty to train the new students in all areas of the job including customer service skills. Through this job, I was able to build strong relationships with my coworkers and especially the residents by engaging in heartfelt conversations. I have also worked as a medical assistant at Bryn Mawr Skin and Cancer from May 2023 to the present. Since starting as a dermatological medical assistant I have become proficient in performing clinical and administrative tasks, including patient intake, assisting with minor surgical procedures, managing electronic health records, educating patients on post-treatment care, and scribing. I have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. I am seeking to leverage my expertise and dedication to enhance patient experience when I become a Physician Assistant.
