1. Outreach & Community Engagement
- Build partnerships with local organizations, schools, churches, shelters, hospitals, and law enforcement.
- Coordinate and participate in community events, fairs, and workshops to spread awareness.
- Conduct presentations and trainings on human trafficking prevention, signs, and how to respond.
- Distribute printed materials (brochures, posters, hotline info) in high-risk areas.
2. Survivor Support & Advocacy
- Connect survivors to resources such as shelter, food, medical care, mental health services, and legal aid.
- Provide crisis intervention or act as the first point of contact for newly identified victims.
- Help survivors navigate systems (courts, immigration, housing, education).
- Accompany clients to appointments and advocate on their behalf.
3. Case Management Support
- Conduct needs assessments and help develop individualized service plans.
- Track client progress, follow-up on goals, and maintain detailed case notes and documentation.
- Collaborate with case managers and counselors to ensure wraparound services are in place.
4. Education & Training
- Educate vulnerable communities about risk factors, red flags, and protective strategies.
- Train professionals (e.g., teachers, social workers, healthcare providers) on recognizing and responding to trafficking.
- Develop and update curriculum or outreach materials.
5. Program Coordination & Reporting
- Help design or implement outreach strategies and campaigns.
- Collect data and feedback from events or services for grant reporting and improvement planning.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to program evaluation.
6. Advocacy & Policy
- Participate in coalitions or task forces that address human trafficking.
- Help inform local policy by sharing survivor experiences (with consent) and advocating for legislative change.
- Stay informed on relevant laws and best practices.
