Summary

My career as a pharmacist is rooted in direct patient care (emergency medicine). Few experiences teach humility and respect for others while seeing them at their most vulnerable. Seeking new challenges, I pivoted away from patient care and into health systems administration where I learned about aspects that allow our society's health care system to serve those in need- regulations, financial sustainability ('the business side of things'), and dynamics of interpersonal communication across a multitude of disciplines. My most recent career change was an introduction to managed care where I currently serve as a Clinical Account Manager for a rapidly growing pharmacy benefits manager. I am now looking for new opportunities, to learn, grow, and apply my previous experiences to improve the lives of others.
