  • During my structured six weeks program at one of the largest NHS hospitals, I was actively involved in inpatient ward rounds, case presentations, and the supervised management of patients from admission to discharge, including EMR documentation (SOAP notes, investigations, and prescriptions).
  • Assigned approximately three patients daily, performed focused history-taking and physical examinations, reviewed investigations, presented cases, and carried out orders and blood investigations under direct supervision.
  • Attended specialty outpatient clinics (lipid, thyroid, diabetes, insulin pump), strengthening clinical reasoning, communication, and presentation skills, with commendation from patients and attending physicians.
  • Conducted a supervised clinical audit on familial hypercholesterolemia and PCSK9 inhibitor use per NICE CG71/TA393, with responsibilities including data collection, analysis, abstract writing, and manuscript drafting/editing; findings were presented at a departmental meeting, the abstract has been accepted for poster presentation at the British Endocrine Society for Endocrinology (SfE BES) 2026 Conference, and a manuscript is in preparation for submission.
