Community Service

Throughout my years as a member of the New Light Baptist Church I participated in several community service programs that aided in providing temporary housing, and food and amenities for the homeless and less fortunate. I have assisted food banks in food distribution assignments throughout the community, cleaned the campus of Thee Grambling State University for its annual trash away program and worked with Wellspring to help locate suitable housing for the homeless and women and children in domestic violence situations. I have also worked closely with the City of Monroe to aid in decluttering the more impoverished areas of the city.
