Emerging Leaders of Nevada

Being apart of the Emerging Leaders allowed me to broaden my horizons on the Legislative aspect of Insurance.  I traveled to Washington DC to speak with legislators including Mark Amodei and Catherine Cortez Masto on the current insurance issues we are facing in Nevada.

Emerging Leaders gave me the experience of networking.  Throughout the year the organization would host events inviting independent agents where we would discuss the current state of the industry and how we could make it better. Through the Emerging Leaders I was able to have meetings with Mark Garratt whom is the Chief Examiner for the NV Property and Casualty Division.  I was also able to connect with James Wadhams who is a lobbyist for insurance.

My main role with the Emerging Leaders was President Elect.  My duties involved assisting the President Tracy Donahue with coordinating social events, and networking to build up our presence in the Nevada Insurance world.
