I am naturally extroverted, so customer service was something that came very naturally. I created a welcoming environment at AJ's by greeting customers as they came into the store, and kindly answering their questions. Working in stressful and high-pressure situations taught me how to stay calm while also meeting customer expectations. Proving myself to be a reliable employee allowed my boss to trust me with a heavier work load. Through this experience I was taught valuable problem-solving skills, communication skills, and multitasking abilities.
