  • Working with a team of IT professionals to help assist internal and external users (North America and International) of Siemens Energy with operating company devices and software while following cyber security guidelines. Assistance includes, repairing/building devices (desktop, phones, tablets, etc), installation of software/encryption, creating tickets for specific support teams that pertains to the users needs, and building relationships with users/vendors so that the team is the first point of contact for help.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Client solutions (configuration, deployment, and administration) is necessary to complete tasks with asset/user management (ie Azure, Intune (Jumphost PC), etc)
  • Working with configuring local networks and network security products, VPNs (Zscaler), Firewall rules, and Virtual Environments (HyperV and Jumphost PC) with the system administration team in Orlando A Quad 1.
  • Assists users through IT team created Virtual Helpdesk, 24/7 Field Service phone, and physical helpdesk. 24/7 Field Service phone allows for immediate and continuous IT and cyber security support for any Field Service engineers anywhere in the world.
  • Builds strong relationships within the team and being a support for all team members for efficient workflow and better collaboration among team members. This includes, working on documentation with team input, modifying and adjusting current support to meet the needs of the user, delegating and teaching specific tasks to each team member so that projects are finished in an orderly time, and being readily available to assist any team member in need of help.
