• Accurately process a high volume of payroll or benefit changes that affect system data relating to each employee
• Maintain time and attendance records while meeting established deadlines.
• Correct payroll, timesheets and/or benefit records in the computer system as appropriate, including leave, health benefits, Thrift Savings Plan, retirements, etc.
• Participate in a team setting to complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced office.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating advice and guidance to internal/external customers both verbally and in writing by explaining Federal civilian pay, leave and/or benefits regulations and procedures.
• Perform audits for retroactive pay and/or leave problems using standardized spreadsheets or manual forms.
• Review personnel and payroll and/or benefit actions for validity and research errors.
• Process W-2 corrections appropriately.
• Producing highly sensitive and secure documents.
• Editing and creating office documents and correspondence using office automation software, i.e. graphics, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing, while maintaining data integrity
• Managing individual files, accounting for the movement of files to other locations, conducting audits of files. RAIL files to proper locations for scheduled oath ceremonies and to retire files after naturalization.
• Work in information systems and databases to schedule ceremonies and appointments. Scheduling applicant appointments, communicating directly with applicants and their representatives.
• Request vetting for applicants prior to naturalization ceremonies, correspondence with judicial contacts at courthouses, complete check-in process with applicants to ensure regulations are met for accuracy and completeness

• Work in a variety of departments at the museum including visitor services, docent, education outreach, volunteer coordination and training, and collections/archives.
• Answer visitors' questions about the museum on phone, email and in person and provide general information to visitors.
•Assist curator with exhibit development and interpretive signage. Scan and digitize items in the collections and archives and upload them to computer database Past Perfect.
• Update databases and manuals for training as needed.
•Process and reply to donation requests the museum receives using letter templates and Excel spreadsheets.
•Assist volunteer coordinator with training new volunteer and staffed museum docents in standard operation procedures.
• Lead fellow employees and volunteers by giving training, feedback, and encouragement.
• Sell bookstore merchandise, admission tickets to museum, and memberships via cash and card using cash register and POS system.
