  • Establishes and maintains Liaison between the Division of Pensions and Benefits and the Treasury Data Center, Office of Management Budget Cash Control concerning the requirements and data processing needs of the Division.
  • Coordinates and initiates the scheduling of the Division's data processing jobs with the Treasury Data Center. This involces scheduling and controlling our Active and Retired Pension membership records, processing of various checks, posting of employer Quarterly Reports of Contributions and processing of various year end 1099's. Updating over 500,000 pension membership statistical files and posting of membership contributions to accounts (must be reconciled to ensure proper credit to member accounts). When necessary, coordinates and initiates the printing and sealing of forms for mass mailings to the members of the various retirement systems administered by the State.
  • Analyze the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to determine accuracy. Investigate and provide solutions when problems occur. Initiates correction actions.
  • Schedule jobs and balance the annual data for the Retired Active Actuaries.
  • Responsible for analyzing approximately 5,000 scheduled production jobs in order to ensure all user commitments are met on a daily basis. Notify and consult with OIT Programming Staff when system problems occur to develop corrective solutions. Ensure jobs are re-scheduled timely and correctly in order to maintain user requirements and commitments.
  • Serves as the Primary Information Security Representative (ISR) for the Division. Perform numerous ACF program functions to control the security access to the Division's data processing applications and files. Create logon-ids, grant access to the various data processing systems utilized by the Division's employees, re-sets password violation and delete user-id's upon separation from employment. Also create logon-id's and grant SHIPS access to Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield employees.
  • Assists units with the Division and OIT Production Management with planning and implementing new system requirements. Provide technical support in regard to Division requirements. Requires testing and reconciling all new and converted programs.
  • Maintain the 11 college files that are received on a Quarterly basis thru the MOVEit system for accuracy.
