As a student, I prioritize my education before work; my rigorous studies often demand a lot of me, even in addition to working part-time. I greatly enjoy opportunities to challenge myself and learn, which is part of the reason I am interested in veterinary medicine. My experiences range from an animal shelter, a goat farm, and a small animal clinic - all of which have taught me practical skills and knowledge, but also about the realities of the field.
Science, specifically medicine, has always been a discipline that has interested me greatly. It is something that takes hard work and humility, two things I believe (and have been told) I have. My goals are to find a job that teaches and inspires me toward my career aspirations, as well as be of service to those around me.
In my free time, I often enjoy reading and spending time with my three cats: Neo, Luna, and Captain "Blacktoe" Additionally, karaoke and going on runs are just a couple of my unique hobbies Travel is a huge passion for me as well, so exploring the town and abroad takes up some time, too
