Operating under the same qualifications as plasma processor with additional roles as follows:

• Planning and creating scheduling for all lab employees.
• Maintaining freezer maintenance.
• Cross training screeners and phlebotomists and assisting employees to become lab qualified per SOP.
• Supporting other areas as needed.
• Identifying processing issues and providing solutions.
• Evaluating procedures and improving upon lab procedures to assist with better efficiency.
• Delegating tasks as needed among plasma processors.

• Cut and assembled tubing manifolds and assemblies according to SOP schematics for product filling.
• Measured, mixed, and filtered raw cleaning chemical components according to SOP guidelines while ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Loaded and operated autoclave for product terminal sterilization while maintaining accurate and concurrent documentation of cycles.
• Planned/lead all daily activities efficiently while providing clear and accurate documentation and instruction based on ever changing production needs.
• Pulled samples from each product batch for laboratory testing and coordinated email confirmations for shipment.
• Packaged/palletized completed terminally sterilized products for shipment.
• Trained in aseptic gowning procedures/aseptic product handling techniques.
• Donned A-5 PPE into clean room environments while adhering to proper clean room behavior/guidelines while unloading autoclaved parts/materials.
• Monitored and alerted management to issues/potential product impactful events.
• Maintained inventory records for tubing assembly supplies/fluid pathway components.

• Obtained samples from plasma bottles while ensuring that all standard operating procedures were followed and time limits were not exceeded before review by quality assurance.
• Packed plasma bottles into cases for freezer storage/organization while waiting for confirmatory testing to be completed.
• Consolidated cases of fully tested/released plasma in preparation for shipment.
• Culled reactive units/wasted unsuitable units per SOP/processing guidelines.
• Operated centrifuge to obtain serum samples from blood while ensuring that the samples are were of suitable color/passing lipemic indicator testing.
• Trained new employees on lab procedures and processing per proper SOP/cGMP guidelines.
• Maintained freezer cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.
• Checked donor profiles to ensure correct samples had been ordered according to appropriate program.
• Assisted in staging of consolidated product for shipment.
