Forklift operators should be safety-conscious, have strong time management skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. They should also be physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time, and have strong hand-eye coordination.
With experience, forklift operators can progress into more senior roles such as team leader, supervisor, or construction manager.
