I have started as a part time associate and worked my way into building a career doing something I love. My personal core values align with the Fleet Feet values; putting people first and doing the right thing, to name a few, are something I hold near to me. I believe that with my experience, strengths, and passion I would be a great addition to the OP DFW team.
Since being a part of Fleet Feet I have been to Carrboro with former JR store managers to meet the SST and learn Fleet Feet Fit Id and fit process. I attended the Fleet Feet yearly conference in Spokane. Both of these opportunities allowed me to learn more about the culture of Fleet Feet while interacting with OP's, Franchise owners, SST and my peers.
As a store manager I was invited to Denver to be a part of the DM meetings in 2016 and 2019. In 2016 I was able to go to Ireland with Saucony's Race to Kinvara. In 2018 I helped open the Fort Worth location. I was also invited that same year to Boston for the launch of the Adidas Solar Boost collection, along with winning a sales related contest to Germany with Currex. I was also invited to help set up and work the NYC expo from 2016-2022. Through these experiences I have made great contacts within the running industry with vendors and also with peers outside of my region.
While in the ASM role I was able to learn the interview process along with letting team members go.
Coached 15k and half marathon classes for RunOn and wanted to work in the store to help others. This was my first retail job and I learned the details of the running shoes and how to sell.
Learned and excelled at the company standard of UPT of 3.0 and DPT of $100.00 metrics. Staff members were required to write hand written thank you postcards to our customers, pt time 5 a month and full time 10 a month.
I was promoted to MIT, manager in training, six months later for the Frisco location. I was part of opening the store.
