When I started my career I started in a phone solicitation department and carried those skills with me throughout my career. Over the years I sharpened those skills and and added them to a growing skillset to make me a better salesman, Over the years I have honed a solid background in the sales field but it has never limited to just direct sales. It would have been impossible to attain the goals I and others had set for me without great phone skills. These are not limited to but do include sales negotiations, solving customer problems , customer retention and following up to make certain that we pacified and retained a customer who was contemplating a change.
